Colour -- Vibrant, but saturated
reds
Contrast -- Very Strong
All the benefits (and drawbacks) of Fujicolor Superia 100 can be seen in these images. This photo shows the relatively balanced colour, but also the somewhat saturated reds (granted, the locomotive was freshly painted). The contrast is high, giving vibrant results but sometimes obscuring shadow detail.
This photo received no exposure or colour correction when scanned.

Sharpness -- Excellent
This is a cropped 2400 DPI scan from the image above.
It's when the photos are enlarged that Fujicolor Superia 100 really shines. The film is sharp, and the grain is invisible in many places. All the fine detail of the logs, station roof and engine hood is well-defined.

Overall --
A very sharp film that's excellent
for scanning. Very fine grain that's least visible in areas of small
details. Over-saturated reds and high contrast can intrude in prints,
however. My second film of choice behind Fujicolor Superia Reala
100.
