2400 DPI sky scan

Colour -- Vibrant and accurate
Contrast -- Medium
At print size, Fujicolor Reala 100 is virtually faultless. The colours are the most balanced of the films I've tried, and the contrast is more subtle than in regular Fujicolor Superia 100. The very life-like results are similar to those of slide film.
This photo received slightly decreased exposure and no colour correction when scanned.

Sharpness -- Excellent
This is a cropped 2400 DPI scan from the image above.
Fujicolor Reala 100 maintains its superiority over other print films when enlarged as well. The grain is nearly invisible, possibly slightly better than regular Superia 100. The lack of grain is evident in the smooth appearance of the locomotive side, where rust streaks and the access door lines are clearly visible. The radiator intake grill on the first locomotive and the grabirons on the second unit are well defined. The trees in the background are motion-blurred from a pan.

Overall --
This print film rivals slide film.
Balanced colours, a nearly invisible grain and exceptional sharpness yield
astounding results. Lower contrast greatly improves shots in bright
conditions compared with regular Fujicolor Superia 100. My current
film of choice.
