Grain -- Fair

2400 DPI sky scan (grain sample)

.

.
Colour -- Vibrant, but saturated orange
Contrast -- Medium

Punchy colour and nicely balanced contrast yield very good results at print size.  The orange is saturated, however, and there is a slight orange cast in general.

This photo received slightly increased exposure and no colour correction when scanned.

Sharpness -- Fair to Good

This is a cropped 2400 DPI scan from the image above.

The grain is coarse for a 100-speed film, equivalent to a good 400-speed film.  Although visible, the finer details could be more crisp. The rivets under the cab window are just visible.

.
Overall -- These would be considered very good results if they were from a 400-speed film, with nicely balanced colour and contrast.  The grain, however, is out of place in a 100-speed film, and details could be sharper.
