Les Pros de la Photo 200 ISO Print Film
Grain
The grain of the film is fairly coarse, equivalent to the better 400-speed films.
2400 DPI sky scan (grain sample)
Colour
Contrast - Medium
At print size, the Les Pros film delivers pleasing results. The colours are fairly well-balanced and not too saturated, but there's a yellow cast. The contrast is medium, which creates dynamic results but still allows for good shadow detail.
This photo received slightly increased exposure and no colour correction when scanned.
Sharpness
This is a cropped 2400 DPI scan from the image above.
Sharpness is middling. Although visible, the finer details could be more crisp.
Overall
This film is very similar to the Les Pros 100-speed film. The film's fairly coarse grain and unexceptional sharpness can be partly made up for by overall good colour and contrast.
Long-term Stability
This film strip was re-scanned in November 2009, 5 1/2 years after the photos were taken. The yellow cast had increased notably, but could still easily be corrected digitally.
