January 29 update: All remaining C40-8W variations have been revised. The single C40-8W that was revised yesterday has received minor corrections and additions.
January 28 update: The first revised C40-8W has been completed! I based it off a Dash-9 drawing--and in doing so, I found a few areas on the Dash-9 hood that "didn't fit". The dynamic brake area and AC cabinet were too short, and the central air intake area was too long; these inaccuracies in the Dash-9's are being corrected. Also, AC, ES and Dash-9 units are gradually going to receive some more very minor revisions: New horns (which will be applied to most drawings anyway) and handrails raised by 2 pixels.
January 27 update: The SD40-2F drawing has been under revision for a while but has now been completed. A right-side view has also been added.
January 25 update: You could say I'm in a sticky situation at the moment, as the site is becoming increasingly maintenance-intensive. No pages will cease receiving updates or be shut down--that is something that will never happen as far as I can see--but there will have to be some changes.
I'm going to put an upper limit on drawing contributions: 40 per contributor. That may not seem like much, but there's only one of me and a growing number of contributors (now approaching 60). Drawings that have been sent in before now will be posted, and existing drawings will remain online--but the limit will come into effect for future drawings.
I was reluctant to place a limit, but here's the reason I did so: Keeping up-to-date with contributions and drawings has come at the expense of many other sections of the site--such as the photo section, which is just as large as the drawing section. Some of the photo pages have not yet received link updates that were required almost a year ago. My free time has not diminished, but there's just a whole lot more that needs updating.
To anyone who would like to post a large number of drawings, I would suggest setting up a personal website, which could be linked to from this page. Several former contributors have set up websites (see links below). I can provide information and will begin work on a section describing how I've made this site.
Long-term Drawing Update: All drawings--rolling stock and locomotives--will receive new couplers and a blue background as the minimum changes. Most locomotives will receive more substantial revisions. Some, such as second-generation EMD locomotives, are being completely redrawn.
The
update started on April 07, 2005--check the Drawing Status page below for
listings of what's been revised.

The GP38-2 above is part of the 1:55 series of scale drawings started in October 2000. These drawings range from undecorated cars and locomotives of several builders to painted ones in wildly varying colours. Look for additions every couple of days.
All of my drawings, painted or undecorated, are of real locomotives and rolling stock.

- My Drawings -
Personal Use: The drawings are free for all personal uses at no cost. My written permission is not necessary for personal use.
Display: Written permission is required for the drawings to be displayed on other sites, or for use in any other form of publication. Credit also must be given for the drawings, unless it is impossible to do so. No cost is required for non-commercial display.
Commercial Use: $40 Can. per undecorated drawing and $25 per painted one ($32 and $20 US respectively) are required for all drawings used for commercial purposes, such as on model packaging or as display on websites advertising a product. These terms are open to discussion and I will settle on whatever works best for any given situation.
Drawings featured on this site are free for personal use, but they require written permission before being posted on other websites. I have recently come across (or have been notified of) several sites where my drawings are posted without my permission, and with no credit given for them. This is a violation of the terms of use specified on this site, and a disregard of the many hours of work put into the drawings.
However, there are a number of people who have displayed my drawings in some way and who have my permission to do so:

My thanks to everyone who has respected the rights of the drawings.
