Locomotive Phases


.
Phases refer to incremental changes or improvements over a the production of a locomotive model.  They often indicate minor cosmetic differences and are thus rarely, if ever, used by railroads and builders.  They are not official model designations.

Where possible, I've based phase information off existing, well-known phase descriptions.  In other cases, I've created my own phase distinctions reflecting the differences I've noticed when making drawings of the models in question.
