A trio of leased Geeps sits outside the KPR facilities in Vernon, BC, on August 14, 2004.  On the point is GP40 183 in EMD leasing paint.  This was originally MKT (Missouri-Kansas-Texas) 183 and was rebuilt with dynamic brakes by EMD for leasing.

EMDX 182, with a similar background to 183.

Cab shot of GP40 182.

A view of the radiator intake of 182. The circular red sign indicates the location of a fire extinguisher.

LLPX 2267 is a GP38-2, but, as indicated by the long radiator intake, was originally a GP40.  It was originally built as Illinois Central GP40 3014.  During the "de-turboing" process, a paper air filter box was placed where the exhaust stack used to be and (not visible) two exhaust stacks were added instead on the center of the roofline in GP38 fashion.  The first radiator fan was also removed.
